Just for the sake of common sense, lets look at this and think through it. Felon is a term given to a us citizen that no matter right or wrong in the courts ruling takes away a persons right to own a firearm because of federal law. The only advertisements i have ever personally for owning a firearm is home defense, defense for your car or family, or something that most people would come to the concensus that "here is a bad person trying to do a bad thing to another and if the victim in this crime did not have a firearm for defense they may have been robbed, raped, or some other unthinkable act. Thank goodness they could defend themselves." I simply believe that a "felon" still a citizen and able to enjoy all the same fredoms and rights as anyone else should be entitled to carry legally.
