A petition to allow convicted felons, convicted of non-violent, non-drug related, non-sexual related crimes and those that have served their sentences or "time" to be allowed to defend and protect their country in the United States military branch of their choosing. While most felons have their constitutional right to bear arms stripped from them, they shouldn't also have the opportunity to defend their country taken from them, as well. Not all felons are bad people, some made some poor choices and as we all know, the justice system isn't always perfect and some innocent people are convicted of things they did not do.
