Allow convicted felons to purchase, own, and use firearms, if the offense was not violent or did not involve a firearm.

Created by M.C. on August 14, 2014

This country looks past individuals that have done wrong way too much. Have you ever tried to find a job as a convicted felon? It is, to say the least, embarrassing and almost pointless.
What are we going to do when or if the country is invaded or if someone stirs up a "rebellion" and the citizens start rioting and killing fellow Americans. I am not going to fight with a stick and I do not believe that is constitutional.
If the crime we committed was not violent or involved the use of a weapon, we should be able to restore the right to bear arms.
I am tired of "normal" people saying that if a felon has a gun he will use it in a bad way, that's just a overbearing stereotype that is highly offensive. There are just as many with no criminal history committing crimes.
