Allow convicted offenders to serve their sentence by joining the military.

Created by B.F. on March 13, 2013

The military, prison system and offender could benefit. The military would increase enrollment and could be given incentives to take offender into the program. The military could be given the amount of money it would cost to house the offender in a prison. The offender would benefit by learning skills that would help them serve their country. The offender would learn the proper use of weaponry and firearms. The prison system would benefit because it would decrease the population. The prisons would remain a place for the highest level offenders.
