Current draconian laws make us all sinners that are akin to the right hand of the devil, even if we wish to build our own private movie or music library for immediate home use only. As it stand now if any one breaks the encryption put in place on these medias, a person is subject to exhorbant fines and possible jail. This isn't justice and fair use for the regular citizen is gone. For those who have servers of music or movies and is doing pirate site activities from out of your own home, you deserve what you get.
But if you just wish to convert your collections of movies and music to digital media for a media center in home use, the should be no law / penalties against it. Where it stands now...Big Money controls congress on this and the citizen has no rights. This MUST Change!
