Many states force small batch distillers to market and sell their products through a three tier distribution system set up in the Stone Age creating price inflation and an unfair distribution advantage to the large conglomerates. Small distillers do not have the volume to get attention or price advantages against the like of Diagio. Give craft distillers to choose between self distribution or going through a distributor like Washington State allowed a few years ago. The free market is not free.
