Allow Creationism and Intelligent Design to be taught alongside Evolution in the science classroom as federal law.

Created by R.H. on June 16, 2013

While Evolution has been accepted by the majority of scientists worldwide, it is not mutually exclusive of the idea that an Intelligent Creator designed and guided the process. Government is to neither promote nor hinder religious thought, and the very fact that the U.S. motto is "In God We Trust" infers that America is founded on the principle that God exists. The government should seek a middle ground and allow both thoughts to be included in the science classroom.
As the First Amendment states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Considering an Intelligent Creator is not establishing a religion, only acknowledging a Creator, the same as our National Motto, and our pledge of allegiance to "One nation, under God".
