allow current and former military members of active duty, guard and reserve to carry a concealed weapons.

Military members have extensive firearm training. And can be an excellent source of protection. I propose that all military members with a concealed carry permit, and a legally owned firearm be allowed to carry their concealed weapon on premises that otherwise are weapon free zones(public and priv.). Police can not be everywhere at once. So expanding the footprint of "good guys with guns" will save lives. Stopping "bad guys with guns" from hurting innocent civilians. Plus, with the common knowledge that a gun free zone may actually have a military member with a firearm will deter criminals from attacking these locations. Military members go through training that others do not. And military members that have a legally obtained firearm and a concealed carry permit can stop major catastrophes
