Allow darker window tint on front windows of automobiles

Created by J.T. on February 09, 2015

Allow darker window tint on the front windows of vehicles. This could help persons who want to reduce the allowed light into their vehicles, as the high amount of light may be a nuisance or even somewhat of a pain to some drivers. Although you can get medical exemptions, some drivers would like just to have the luxury of not having the extra light in the vehicle. Take New Mexico for example. Their current VLT (Visible Light Transmission) regulation is 20% or more, whereas in Virginia, it is 50%, in California it is 70% and in Vermont, you can't have any tint at all. Make a standard VLT, like 20% throughout all states.
