American tribal Indians have been granted the right to operate gambling casinos on and off tribal land by the federal government in recognition of the land stolen from the Indians in the past. The only other historically discriminated group in the United States are the descendants of Afro-American slaves.
Slaves were discriminated against in the writing of the U.S. Constitution and in many state constitutions.. Historically land has been stolen and financial institutions have discriminated.
By owning casinos, blacks can increase employment, pay for rehabilitation programs,ensure money for education and improve the American way of life for descendants of black slaves, whose ancestors worked the land and built this great country we enjoy today. The money would also pay down the deficit.
