Americans with many forms of disabilites are articulate enough and are phsyically able enough to help our nation's military fight for our freedoms and to proudly defend our country from terrorism. With the rise of technology such as "The exoskelton" by Berkeley Bionics and with new medical procedures it is an out dated policy by the military not to allow people with a vast amount of disabilites to serve their country as a marine, airman or soilder on the frontlines. Assistive technology now allows those who can not walk to drive a vehicle, that technology can be used with tanks, subs and aircrafts so that people as myself who has spina bifida and will be attending college can also serve our country. DADT was repealed and women can also serve now, give the same right to the disabled.
