The purpose of this petition is to ask for your support in helping our Disabled Veterans. These special veterans who have and continue to return with injuries sustained in the performance of their duties are owed a special thank you from all of us. Specifically, I am asking that there be legislation enacted that would allow our Disabled Veterans to access the commissaries and PX’s that are on our military posts. This would provide for our Disabled Veterans an opportunity to purchase goods and foods at reduced costs. Understanding that this benefit already exists with our retired military and those Veterans who are classified as 100% disabled, this request is not out of line.
