I believe that we should let the discontented red-states secede peacefully from the United States for the following reasons:
1. Their policies and views are often based on religious ideologue, something that we as Americans vowed to stay away from upon creating our nation. In addressing this, they have hindered our efforts towards creating positive discourse around social justice issues, simply by bringing in tired religious rhetoric in their efforts to keep us solidly grounded in some past century.
2. We must green the economy, and end the inappropriate marriage between the government and corporations. We cannot allow for any more exploitation of our resources and people for the sake of a profit.
3. We will FINALLY get on board with the modern world, foster innovation and flourish.
