Not all people have the means or time to go through divorce hearings. Allow divorce to happen without filing forms or attending court hearings after a two year separation unless one or both of the parties oppose the divorce, in which case court should be used. If the couple have issues of separating property make this a separate issue for the court and couple, not all couples going through divorce are concerned about splitting personal property. Let the parents worry about child support and/or visitation when children are involved unless they cannot come to an agreement in which case, again, court could be used to resolve these issues.
