This petition will bring awareness to the growing epidemic that is prescription drug abuse. Prescription drug abuse is very dangerous and not only does it cost the US a lot of money in lost productivity it destroys families and lives. By allowing Doctors to have access to a person's medical file they can see when and where that person last went to the doctor and the treatment or medication received. The files would ONLY be shared through a safe system for doctors only. By doing this we could cut down on the amount of prescription drugs abused.
