Allow the DoD civilian firearm permit holders to store their weapons in locked vehicles while on duty.

Created by J.V. on January 27, 2014

Currently, firearms are not permitted on federal/government installations. Essentially, all approved/licensed firearm permit holders are being disarmed before reporting for duty; and after the work day ends. This has the effect of disarming the individuals for the entire day. Individuals are left defenseless as they cannot bring their firearms with them for fear of punishment if they are found with them on military/govt installations. Simply allowing them to be stored securely in a locked container and that container securely locked in the vehicle while on installations would give the firearm holders opportunity to access their firearms before and after duty hours. This priviledge should be extened to ONLY state/govt license holders to minimize the number of firearms on site.
