For most Americans, dogs and cats are more than just pets, they're family. They depend on us for everything, they cannot work to make money to support themselves. Pet food and supplies have been rising, not to mention a visit to the vet is never cheap. We care for them as we would with a child and we should be able to claim them as dependants so that we can retain money to better support them.
