Allow dogs, appropriately leashed, to visit National Park properties and trails with their human counterparts.

An increasing number of people are traveling with their pets and thousands visit National Parks every year. The vast majority of National Parks feature outdoor visitor attractions such as views of vistas and hiking trails. Currently, only a hand full of parks allow dogs on these trails therefore limiting the pet owner to very little real access to the parks features. Dogs are allowed in city parks, on city sidewalks, in neighborhoods in most every town in the nation generally as long as they are leashed appropriately. There is no solid evidence why this same policy cannot be adopted by the National Park Service system wide. Frankly, there is more damage and aggression displayed by humans on trails than you'd ever see with family pets and yet we don't restrict people from these trails.
