Allow El Pasoans to secede from El Paso in the event that El Paso secedes from Texas and Texas secedes from the Union.

Created by Z.J. on November 15, 2012

In response to Texas' petition to secede from the United States, the city of El Paso began a petition to secede from the state of Texas and remain in the Union. We would like to allow the citizens of El Paso the right to secede from the city and remain with the new government that will be formed when Texas secedes.

We are a concerned group of patriotic citizens who believe that the United States of America stands as shining example of democracy for all other nations. We, likewise, believe it is our duty to leave the Union because we are unhappy with the recent results of the presidential election.
