The environment belongs to the people. How public lands, and things that affect the environment, are managed is a decision that should be made by the people. I want legislation enacted that re-structures the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture so that elected officials, not appointed, determine how the agencies are ran and what the agenda should be. There are a number of ways to structure it. You can have one election for the Secretary, or many elections so that each state has a representative on a committee.
