Allow Enlisted US Marines with tattoos to participate in Enlisted to Officer programs

Created by M.C. on January 13, 2013

Due to the latest Tattoo Policy change, Enlisted Marines with tattoos even though grandfathered in, are no allowed to participate in Enlisted to Officer Programs in the Marine Corps. When these Marines got their tattoos it was not a disqualifying factor. They did not know that policy would change and would not allow them to go this route thus holding them back from from promotion and hurting the Marine Corps by disqualifying those with tattoos who are better suited then those without tattoos. Tattoos have a long history in the Marine Corps and is also a big part of todays society.
