Ex felons need the right to protect their families and themselves from those who have guns and could initiate a fight and still claim self defense even if we are not armed. There is a lot of criminals that have not been caught yet that have the right to bear arms and therefore are considered a threat to everyone not armed. We deserve the right to protect ourselves from them or anyone who threatens our life.
