My grandmother only spent fleeting moments with her father prior to his death in 1945 during WW2. For the last twenty years she has attempted to bring his body home to be buried with her family but the United States Government refuses to allow this hero to return home due to political red tape and the fact he is buried in a permanent cemetary in France. As a consolation they have sent pictures of the grave stone. The United States Government should not stand behind any law that prevents the return of a fallen soldier and the Obama Administration should help initiate legislation to lift this sick law and allow families to bring home thier heroes.
