In the event that the State of Arkansas should secede from the union, the city of Fayetteville would like to remain a part of the United States of America. Fayetteville could exist as its own state, or would gladly become part of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Missouri.
Fayetteville would even be willing to join Oklahoma, but only as a last resort.
We also would request to annex the city of Ozark, Arkansas, from the last Thursday of May until the following Sunday of each year.
