This petition was created in order to urge the government to make Pell Grants available once a student has surpassed six years of college. It doesn't seem fair that welfare recipients can continue to collect benefits for an unlimited amount of time. Yet, in the meantime students cannot recieve grants past six years to help fund their college education.
