We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Allow federal employees who are in the Reserves/National Guard to enroll in and use Tricare Reserve Select/Retired.

Created by A.S. on September 12, 2016

Members of the U.S. military Reserves and National Guard are entitled to enroll in the Tricare Reserve Select/Retired (TRS,TRR) healthcare plan. This plan is a reasonable price while still providing great coverage to the Citizen Soldiers, Retirees, and their families. However, there is a catch. By law, if a person is eligible for, or enrolled in, the Federal Employee Health Benefit (FEHB) program, they cannot enroll in TRS or TRR. This law cuts many who serve or have served off from a benefit of that service they have earned. This law is oddly specific, and as stated above prevents many from using a benefit that they earned through service to their nation. It needs to be changed/removed to allow members of the Reserve and Guard force to take advantage of their rightful benefit.
