Allow free and unrestricted trade of wine and craft beer among all states of the union.
When it comes to buying, trade and merchandising wine and craft beer in the 50 United States it seems that each state might as well be it's own country. State laws conflict with the Interstate Commerce Clause and make wine and beer unavailable or extremely difficult to export to other states.
Regional wines and craft beers are an emerging economic growth opportunity, yet as a nation as a whole, the system of growing this sector is restricted by the states.
For example, New York is the second largest producer of wine in the United States but the majority of this wine is sold in New York because people in most states cannot purchase it in theirs. Let's end this prohibition relic of a system.
