To allow hardworking federal workers the day off after Christmas to spend much needed time with families. We as workers scarafice alot and don' t mind. We also need consideration as workers to be able to serve the American people sucessfully. As a contact worker for a callsite with Internal Revenue Service we are completely drained and needs some relief. We as frontline employees has caught the brunt of unsatisfied Americans. We need a little time to regroup and spend time with our love ones.
