Men have been allowed to walk around with no shirt on, regardless of how much they shouldn't, since 1936. But women still have to keep their tops on 76 years later. We don't believe this is right.
Canada already has a law that allows women to be topless in public without being arrested, and the state of New York allows topless women on their subways. It's time to allow this on a national level.
This petition will make it perfectly legal for any woman to be topless in public without being arrested for indecent exposure. If a 400 lb. hairy fat guy can walk around with no shirt on wearing only swimming trunks, what is wrong with allowing girls to do so also?
