The second amendment states that "...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Currently Congress is a Gun Free Zone, and I would ask Congress to repeal this unconstitutional restriction on our personal liberties. Allowing guns to be carried withing the halls of Congress should keep our elected representatives safe - right now they are vulnerable to attack by anyone who can get through 24 hour security provided by the Capitol Police. Or if Congress is to remain a Gun Free Zone because of safety concerns, then I would ask that Congress enact reasonable restrictions and regulations on the possession of firearms in public places, so that the rest of us can live with the same sense ov security that members of Congress currently enjoy.
