Allow first time offenders to live as normal U.S. citizens and grant the ability to find employment.

Created by C.R. on November 29, 2012

Most citizens who have criminal backgrounds find it hard to obtain employment. I believe that they (we) should be given a second chance. How does the government expect us to move forward, take care of our families, and succeed in life, if we cannot find a job due to a mistake we've made in our past? I can understand the difficulties of those who are repeated offenders, but for first time offenders who have made progress, can you please give them a chance? Some of us have made mistakes as teenagers and have come out into the world with positive look forward. Please help those who are in definite need.

Thank you!
