Sign this petition to let the Obama administration know that students are suffering. In this poor economy, it is increasingly harder and harder to find jobs but yet the direct loans department doesn't care if you have a job or not, they want their money. They can garnish any income you do get and even if you file bankruptcy, you still owe your student loans. This is unfair. The bankruptcy laws should be utilized to protecting the consumer not protecting the banker. We need relief from these overburdensome loans and especially the collectors.
