Daraprim, a generic drug which was sold in the US for $1 per tablet in 2010 and sells in September 2015 for $750 per tablet, is only the most egregious example of corporate abuse. GlaxoSmithKline sold the US marketing rights to Daraprim in 2010, but it continues to manufacture it for the rest of the world. Today Daraprim sells in European and Canadian pharmacies for less than $1.50 per tablet.
