Allow freedom of Religion to dictate an American Citizens right to marry. Remove the Government from Marriage altogether

The Federal or State Government does not belong in Marriage. The bonds of Marriage should be left to each individual American Citizen to decide based on their own religion, personal beliefs, relationships, etc.. Religious institutions should not be condemned for defining their view of Marriage, and congregations should be allowed to honor those views without ridicule, persecution, or threat to tax exemption. Individual rights to Marry should be governed by the First Amendment under the freedom or Religion and the Government should make no law to limit what a Citizens, or Religion's definition of what an appropriate union is.
