As of right now child support payments can not be garnished from VA Disability pay - I petition the federal government to make it so that military personnel (Male/female) cannot just make babies and leave the child to be supported financially by the other parent or even step parents.
My ex husband abandoned our daughter when she was 19 months old (now almost 9 years) has literally made one payment of 300.00 from 2006 to present date and now I receive a letter from the state (Child support enforcement) saying that not only will they no longer pursue collection but they want to eliminate the approximate 37,000.00 in back support because he is disabled.
Make "ALL" people be held accountable for their actions when it comes to making a baby.
