We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Allow gay men to donate blood without the condition of being celibate so that they can help their community.

Created by A.M. on June 12, 2016

The current policy is that gay men must be celibate for one year in order to donate blood this effectively bans gay men from donating blood. Our technology and knowledge has advanced since the ban was first put into place. Blood samples that are donated are checked for HIV. Please change this outdated policy so that gay men can donate and help to save lives.
