This president has done a lot for gay citizens around this great nation, but there is still discrimination in the health field. in the 1980's during the AIDs epidemic congress made it illegal for gay men to donate blood. since then, we have made technological advances in HIV/AIDS detection. We want the HIV anti-body test to be a part of the preliminary testing that donation organizations conduct (which include blood pressure, iron, etc). people are donating les blood every year and with disasters like Katrina, Sandy, and others, we can't afford to be picky on who we donate from. please help fix this injustice in our nation.
