Allow Gilberto Ponciano-Hidalgo back into the United States and provide him citizenship so he can be with his children.

The purpose of this petition is to petition the Obama Administration to allow Gilberto Ponciano-Hidalgo back into the United States and allow him to obtain citizenship so he can be with his children. His children have been separated from him for far to long on account of him being deported to Mexico because he does not have citizenship. Gilberto was brought here to the United States as a young teenager and had no choice. He spent a year and a half detained by ICE trying to obtain citizenship with no luck. His daughter Yasmine is now 10 years old and his son Jason is now 8 and they have not seen there Daddy for over 2 years. It is tearing his children apart. They do not understand why their Daddy is not allowed to be in the United States with them just because he was born in another country
