Allow a Green Card holder to petition for aged and dependent parents to immigrate or allow a special longer visit visa.

Created by D.K. on July 07, 2014

A family comprises of parents, spouse and children. The choice between - taking care of old parents in their old age vs. making a life in United States without them is a tough choice. It is inhuman to leave aged parents behind - who took care of you when you were young, in a hope for better future of your next generation in United States.

Today a green card holder can only sponsor spouse or under age children. We believe that family is incomplete without parents.

We request you to acknowledge this and create a family friendly immigration policy by making parents also eligible for Green Card. Alternately make provisions where parents can stay in US for longer time (then usual 6 months on visit visa).
