Allow Gun Control to be up to the state government

I believe it would be just for the federal government to allow states to create and control their gun policies. Many benefits could come from this such as it would make everyone happy. For example people in New York may believe it is just to limit magazine capacity in assault rifles and people in Texas may think it is wrong and infringes on their rights, so why not try and make the majority happy? Not only would this create agreement but this could also be used as a test. Over time we could see if gun control really stops crimes and leads to over all safety of a society. Also I would like to add that there is confusion about the 2nd amendment. The second amendment wasn't made to just protect our homes from a robber or hunt our game, it was made to overthrow an unjust government if needed
