Allow H-4 visa holders & non US citizens to enlist in the military and be able to apply for a social security number.

Created by C.B. on July 14, 2012

I believe that people who are on H-4 visas and non citizens be given the chance to enlist in the military with help in obtaining a social security number. I know that with a H-4 visa you are not allowed to work nor enlist in the military. Maybe we can change that policy. Many people have dreams of being in the military and serving for the country they are trying to become citizens of and call there home. I am one of them. It would take me years just to get my immigrant visa and my citizenship and it is very costly. I came here legally and going through the process of legally becoming a citizen, but along this process you have certain limitations like not being able to apply for a SSN, enlist in the military or get a job.
