The passing of the concealed carry law was a major step in improving safety for citizens and promoting the constitutional right to bear arms. The problem now is the rising on uninformed individuals ignorance and lack of knowledge regarding the benefits of having concealed carry and the stand our ground laws. More crimes are prevented when there is a presence of an armed individual who can take action to stop and prevent a potential crime. Police and other law enforcement agents can not be on every street corner and every building, sure they can create a presence but are limited. Having armed citizens will scare criminals and force them to think twice. This will increase security and safety.
