Hong Kong, which was originally a British colony was recognized for free speech. However, the Hong Kong government, which is slowly being taken over by China's communist party has restricted HKTV(Hong Kong Television Network Limited) from being granted a license to be broadcasted on Hong Kong's free to air license. HKTV has not done anything wrong in the past, nor have they done anything wrong in the present. All they have done is express their opinions, which is protected by Hong Kong's freedom of speech. There are theories that the Chinese government refused to grant HKTV the right because they expressed their political views, but the government says it's not politics. They think that HKTV cannot sustain itself since it doesn't have "financial sustainability" so it cannot move forward.
