Allow homeowners that previously refinanced a mortgage under HARP to do it again in order to lower the interest rate.

This petition is a request for extension of the Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) to homeowners that took advantage of the lower interest rates, but can qualify for the program again if the requirement of only allowing homeowners a one time chance is removed. Allowing eligible homeowners to refinance again would push money into the economy to purchase other items that are needed. This is one of the easiest ways that the government can grow the economy and is similar to a tax break. Many homeowners took advantage of this program after it was announced and rates have drastically lowered since 2010.
