Allow horse slaughter facilities to be reopened as it is need for animal welfare, economy, and environment would benefit

Since the closure of horse slaughterhouses, the numbers of unwanted and neglected horses has climbed at an alarming rate. This has led to numerous problems: the releasing of horses into the wild, disrupting the ecosystem of that area, horses being inhumanely euthanized and disposed of in an unfavorable matter, and more.
If the government could reopen the facilities for horse slaughter, we could prevent these awful things from happening, boost the economy and put a good balance back into the habitat of the areas.
