Tens of thousands of studies proved that cannabis is medicine. Many of this research used the FDA’s own double-blind, placebo controlled, peer-reviewed gold standard in confirming the medical use of marijuana. While FDA approved drugs are killing tens of thousands each year, it’s impossible to die from an overdose of marijuana.
Our country is broke while this failed war on a plant is costing $15 billion while having 25 million pot smokers yearly. Vital programs are being cut while the failed War on Drugs rages on.
Ending the arrest of 850,000 people each yearly will help overcrowded jails. Allowing the use of cannabis will lead to greater social stability, better health & respect for the law.
