The middle east is a volatile region and our energy is dependent on this region. Begin construction on the Keystone pipeline immediately so that we may get our energy from our allies to the north. Alternative energy is important, but it is not going to help us any time soon. We need to get working on being less dependent on the middle east. At the same time we will create many jobs which will also strengthen our economy.
