The United States should allow the children fleeing Central American violence to be adopted by US citizens. These children have sacrificed so much in order to get to the US. As such, they will appreciate the luxuries of US citizenship more than most Americans and will strive to excell and further our great nation. By allowing them to stay in this country we are making an invest in our future that will pay dividends. It would cost the government very little as the burden of caring for these children would fall on the adopting parents, not the taxpayers as a whole.
