Allow the import of New Land Rover Defenders(all models) or used Defenders less than 25 years old from the UK

I support the abilty to be able to import all models of the Land Rover Defender (New or used) from the UK. Currently, safety guidelines prohibit this action due to the fact that airbags can not be cost effectively installed. However, the US should allow for import and proper installation on all models. Models 25 years or older are allowed with no airbag installation required. The Defender is used by many military branches around the world for its durability and safety and the EPA rating for emissions is higher than most American SUV's. There is no reason for the US to bar imports of the Defender to US citizens that agree to meet safety standards.
