Independent candidates running independently in Texas for a spot on the November 4,2014 Electoral ballot, have to obtain over 40,000 signatures within 4 months in order to get the chance to run up against the other parties. Established parties like the Democratic Party and the Republican Party don't have to do anything but campaign. I believe the Independent Candidates deserve a fighting chance too. Level out the playing field for all. Allow Independent Candidates to gain ballot access in the November 4, 2014 elections since the "March Primaries" wasn't an option for them.
